Frequently asked questions

Adultaro.com is an independent directory of adult websites for people aged 18 and over. We sort sites into categories, review them and rank them. We do not host any adult videos or images ourselves: every listing links out to a site run by someone else.

We collect information from the site itself and from public sources: the kind of content it offers, how it is organised, what it costs, how many ads it shows and how easy it is to use. Review drafts are written with the help of AI writing tools from that research, then checked, edited and published by us. Each review ends up with a verdict, a rating from 1 to 5, pros and cons, the pricing model and answers to common questions.

Sites are ordered by our editorial judgement of how good they are for that category. Some positions at the top of a category are paid placements; those are always marked "Recommended". Paying for a placement never changes a site's rating or what its review says.

Yes. Many links to reviewed sites are affiliate links: if you sign up after following one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That income, together with paid placements and banners, is what pays for the site. Read the disclaimer.

We note ads, pop-ups and pricing traps in our reviews, but we cannot guarantee that any third-party site is safe, and sites change after we review them. Use an up-to-date browser and an ad blocker, be careful with downloads and pop-ups, and read a site's own terms before you pay for anything.

Yes. Reading reviews and following links costs nothing and needs no account. Some of the sites we review are free, others are paid or freemium; each review says which.

Send a listing request through the Add your site form. You will be asked to place a link to Adultaro.com on your site first; we check it automatically. A request does not guarantee a listing: we only list sites we are happy to review. Add your site.

Either we have not reviewed it yet, or it did not meet our standards, or it was removed because it closed, changed for the worse or no longer works. If you think we should review a site, tell us through the contact form.

Use the contact form and choose "Report a problem with a listing". Include the address of the page and what is wrong, and we will look into it. Contact us.

Reviews are written in English and translated into the other languages offered in the language menu at the top of every page. Translations are produced with machine translation, so the English version is the reference if anything reads oddly. Legal pages such as this FAQ, the terms and the privacy policy are in English only.

As little as possible. You do not need an account, your age confirmation is kept only in your own browser, and we never store the IP address of a review vote. The privacy policy lists everything we collect and why. Privacy policy.
